Summary:

This research explores integrating inquiry-based learning into the primary level (kindergarten and Grade 1) French immersion classroom. The researchers describe the success and challenges of working towards an emergent curriculum in an immersion classroom.  The researchers found that teachers needed both time to work collaboratively and supports to confidently explore inquiry-based learning.
