This project builds on the inquiry of a completed action research project by refining the original investigation: How does increasing visual literacy instruction within secondary classrooms increase engagement in learning? This project addresses the gap in digital and visual literacy skills expected for students in grades 9-12 in content areas and beyond school contexts but rarely taught or supported explicitly.
